  1. As I wind down my music for today (Desolation Row, Dylan, followed by Barber's Adagio) I thought I must comment on how I barely know any of the music you mention (LOL ... it's an age thing!!!) I picked up on that ages ago when we both were responding to Lila's Wednesday Album posts on flickr. It is so sad that she has left - I hate trolls! I've got her email address and hope that she may tour again in Europe ... I'd certainly travel to see her).

Trolls reminds me of a post I put on Angels those many years ago when I got a response (not jokingly) to the effect that we have to consider trolls - they're people too ... hmm! xxx

    1. I do have a wide ranging taste in music, which covers many genres. We certainly have some overlap in our musical taste and knowledge as seen in your recent comment on my Flickr tribute to the New York Dolls and mentions of Fairport Convention and Lou Reed and the Velvet Underground.
I'm very sad that Lila has left Flickr. It's always sad when people feel the need to leave. Especially as she was trolled. But she seemed to focus on the negativity surrounding that, and ignored all of the love and support that was there for her. I have her email address, but I find that once the regular interactions of social media are gone, then staying in contact by email becomes a stilted way of communicating that inevitably dwindles to being almost non-existent. So I doubt i will be in contact with her again, unless she returns to Flickr. Her band do love playing in continental Europe, although they refuse to play the UK, so hopefully you get to meet her alter ego, whose male name seems to indicate he himself is an alter ego..
